EVALUATION REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH

Pages:  08-31 (Lesson Material) 004- 018 (workbook)

 

ATTITUDE:

At first Jong Wun seems so timid talking to his teacher. He does not look at his teacher and would rather look down. However, as days pass by, the student seems to get adjustment. He now talks to his teacher. There are times that the kid’s attention is hard to get, but it is quite tolerable. He shows a nice attitude and perseverance in learning.

 

 

READING:

Jong Wun’s reading skill can be considered as Approaching Proficiency. He can read words and simple sentences on his own with minimal assistance only. He sometimes mumbles words but is receptive for corrections.

 

 

COMPREHENSION

As observed, the student is having a little challenge understanding questions given to him often times. However it is understandable since he is still young. When we were having workbooks, the student know exactly what to do, however he cannot express himself with English language yet. His parents are assisting him when he is having a hard time understanding English.

 

 

 

SPEAKING AND PRONUNCIATION:

 

The kid has a good speaking and pronunciation skills. He knows how distinct each phonics are into another. He only needs a minimal assistance pronouncing words. However he still needs guidance making sentences on his own.

 

 

RECOMMENDATIONS/COMMENTS:

 

The learner completed 31 lessons and 16 workbooks in Smart Phonics 2. The kid possessed a good performance in every lessons and workbooks. He learned and did workbooks about the words that end with the short vowel “a” added with different phonics such as m, p, n, t and started with the words that end with short vowel “e”.

The learner almost perfect all the workbooks with the minimal assistance of the teacher and his mother.

 

FUTURE GOALS:

His teacher will engage each session with free talking until the kid will be able to express himself even with simple English. Also if possible, she hopes that the next lesson material for Jong Wun is about conversational textbooks.
