Mrs. Kweon is polite, active, and playful student. She always shows respect to teacher before and after the class. She’s very active in class in a way she tries out and makes suggestions. Also, she’s playful by inverting ideas to get a better understanding of things.
Mrs. Kweon’s comprehension can be considered as Approaching Proficiency. She can easily understand because she knows a lot of vocabularies. Also, she knows how to understand sentences by using context clues. Sometimes, she needs a little guidance from the teacher only if the lesson uses hard words especially right now that we are using a new textbook.
Mrs. Kweon’s reading skills can be considered as Approaching Proficiency. Her level of speed reading is moderate. As much as possible, she tries to read every word clearly to avoid mistakes. She can read blending words properly and using proper intonation.
SPEAKING AND PRONUCIATION:
Mrs. Kweon has a lot of ideas. Because of that, she’s interested to share and tell her daily life, ideas, and opinions. She can easily integrate our lessons into speaking; she is confident to speak English and observes proper usage of Subject-Verb Agreement.
RECOMMENDATION AND SUGGESTIONS:
I would consider Mrs. Kweon as above basic learner. Since she shows eagerness to learn English, I would suggest her to read English books to acquire new vocabularies and watch English movies to enhance listening and speaking skills
FUTURE GOALS:Mrs. Kweon is a responsible and diligent student. Our goal is to improve her speaking skill that is why we always have pronunciation drill every class to master it. Also, our goal is for her to become fluent in speaking English using the American accent.
