Yea Liang is very polite and cheerful student. She doesn’t forget to greet her teacher and uses polite words. Even though she tired from school, still she shows positivity to continue the class.
Yea Liang’s comprehension can be considered as approaching proficiency. She can easily understand instructions and can explain the questions being asked. She also knows a lot of vocabularies that’s why it’s not that hard for her to understand the sentence. She just needs a little guidance.
Yea Liang’s reading level can be considered as Approaching Proficiency. Although she knows a lot of vocabularies, still there are words that she can’t read properly. Because of that she mumbles. Every time she encounters new words, I always ask her to repeat reading and understanding it until she masters it.
SPEAKING AND PRONUNCIATION:
Yea Liang’s speaking skills has improved since her first day in class until now. She has exerted effort to improve every day especially pronouncing sounds like “r” and “th”. The good thing about her is that she is confident in speaking English. Whenever she has problem in pronouncing the word, she never hesitates to ask.
RECOMMENDATION AND SUGGESTIONS:
Yea Liang needs more motivation in studying English. She needs to read English books to enrich her vocabularies. Although she can speak English fluently, still she needs to master it especially her pronunciation.
Our goal is to improve and master her skills in speaking and writing. The teacher will prepare more interactive activities to make a meaningful and enjoyable class.
