Name of the student: ara
Teacher : Christine
Textbook/pages: let's go 6 pages 38-50
Attitude: Ara is sweet and thoughtful. She is getting nicer as we get to know each other. Her wonderful attitude made me encouraged to teach her more and share some fun exercises. She gets motivated when she does something right and receives amazing praises.
Reading: Ara is an excellent reader. Her speed might be a little slow but she can read words well. The tone of her voice is pleasant to hear. She needs time to improve her speed in reading.
Comprehension: She needs focus and full attention to the lessons discussed. She gets distracted easily. I also noticed that she responds hardly to questions when she's doing something. However, she can catch up quickly when given fun activities that involves drawing and sharing ideas of her interests.
Speaking/pronunciation: Ara has no problem when it comes to pronunciation of words. She's precisely a good reader. Moreover, she has difficulty constructing sentences when speaking. She needs practice in building complete sentences especially subject verb agreement.
I suggest that Ara should be encouraged to share her thoughts more and to practice answering in complete sentences.Expressinf yourself worksheets would be helpful to develop her skills in sentence construction. She would also benefit from reading English books that will interests her.
