Levels of Proficiency
Proficient – The student at this level has developed the fundamental knowledge and skills and core understandings, and can transfer them independently through authentic performance tasks.
ATTITUDE: What I like about Diana is she's so confident when she talks in English. She can express her thughts very well. She is very active and attentive every class. She also participates well and interacts very well with the teacher.
READING: Proficient. Diana's reading skills is so good. She reads like she's just having a conversation with me. Her intonation is also good.
COMPREHENSION:Proficient. She understands each word that a teacher says, eve if you ask her situational questions, see to it that she can answer and provide some examples. Her vocabulary is good
SPEAKING AND PRONUNCIATION: Proficient. When you hear her talk, she sounds like a natice speaker, there are times that she mispronounce a word. But she can be corrected easily ad follows the Native accent sound.
RECOMMENDATIONS/COMMENTS: I would recommend to give her more examples or expose her to unfamiliar words to improve more her vocabulary. I want her to be more familiar when it comes to having different knds of conversation.
FUTURE GOALS: I am planning to give more situational questions to improve her comprehension and sentence construction.
