Levels of Proficiency
Approaching Proficiency – The student at this level has developed the fundamental knowledge and skills and core understandings and with little guidance from the teacher and/or with some assistance from peers, can transfer these understandings through authentic performance tasks.
ATTITUDE: Peter is a kind of student who looks so serious but in reality he is also jolly. He is very attentive and always ask questions whe he can't understand something. Very good with interactions.
READING: Approaching Proficiency. When it comes to reading he is good and focuses with word by word. He knows when to stop or to pause.
COMPREHENSION:Proficient. What I like about Peter aside from bening attentive, he is also aware with the words that is beig itroduced to him, for example if he is not sure he will always ask a question and examples to the teacher to further understand the lesson.
SPEAKING AND PRONUNCIATION: Proficient. His way of speaking is good, he pronounce the words very well. We always have a good discussion especially if the lesson is interesting. He may look shy but he is very talkative
RECOMMENDATIONS/COMMENTS: I would like him to read and read to improve his vocabulary so for example he can use different words to express himself.
FUTURE GOALS: I am planning to give him ore activities and examples with situational questions.
