Levels of Proficiency
Approaching Proficiency – The student at this level has developed the fundamental knowledge and skills and core understandings and with little guidance from the teacher and/or with some assistance from peers, can transfer these understandings through authentic performance tasks.
ATTITUDE: He is more confident and energetic now, his body language shows that he wants to learn and know more. He is very attentive
READING: Approaching Proficiency. His reading skills are good. He is good with his intonation and phrasing too. He can easily summarize what he read.
COMPREHENSION: Proficient. His way of understanding the lesson is impressive. Aside of using common words with his sentence construction, he also likes comparing word to another word to see if it could fit to his sentence.
SPEAKING AND PRONUNCIATION: Proficient. His confidence leads the lesson to have a good conversation. His pronunciation improved a lot especially when it comes to saying consonant letters.
RECOMMENDATIONS/COMMENTS: I would like him to use more vocabularies to improve his sentence construction.
FUTURE GOALS: We will focus more on grammar rules
