Levels of Proficiency
• Beginning – The student at this level is still struggling with her understanding; but I noticed that she could easily comprehend using simple sentences in which I reinforce.
ATTITUDE: Claire is no longer shy. She is very attentive and gives examples to the topic actively. She loves to read and making her own simple sentences.
READING: Beginning. When Claire reads, she is very good at it, she could pronounce the words correctly but there are some that she couldn’t, but I could see that she is really trying her best to it.
COMPREHENSION: She had improved a lot especially by giving examples about the topic. She loves allocating her ideas by speaking.
SPEAKING AND PRONUNCIATION: Developing. She is now a bit talkative and is talking to the teacher with confidence. She likes sharing her ideas.
RECOMMENDATIONS/COMMENTS: I encourage her to try and speak more in English, being talkative is a good sign in learning a new language.
FUTURE GOALS: I will provide more activities to the lesson for her improvement.
